Beauty of Diversity

The Beauty of Diversity collection was created for my final year exhibition, also known as “Spectacle 2014” at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Chancellor Hall.

The inspiration for these paintings are from my own mixed heritage and culture. Each painting consists of three unique elements that embodies my own interpretation of beauty within my heritage.

As you can see the ladies within the painting are all dressed in the traditional attire, proudly framed in the background adored with symbolic flower in the foreground. Each representing their characters and temperament. Reflecting into my own personality.

The base media is acrylic paint with detailing for shadows, fine lines and shading in pen.
